Welcome 2009!

The end of 2008 left us digging ourselves out so that we could all get back in. Many patients were inconvenienced by the weather and needed to be rescheduled. Now, at the beginning of 2009, there's no snow in the future forecasts, but plenty of wind and rain.

For those that needed to cancel and have not been rescheduled, we still have many ideal appointments open during the month of January.

The first of the year is often a time when insurance plans change. Make sure to check with your employer (human resources department) as to whether or not your insurance is as you left it in 2008. In most cases, we are able to extend the courtesy of verifying your benefits so that when you arrive we're ready to help!

If you are a returning patient who's not been in since December 2006, you will find significant changes in our diagnostic equipment. Retinal photography (Optos/Optomap) has been a real boon at educating patients about the seriousness of thorough retinal exams. Automatic refraction equipment has sped up the process (we still need the doctors tho'!) of refining accurate prescriptions. Our ophthalmic prescription frame inventory is constantly changing as representatives from quality frame companies help to keep us updated on what is available to those wishing to wear the finest in eyewear.

We look forward to serving your vision needs in 2009 and we always enjoying making new friends! Give us a call! If you are a new patient, just click on the link below for more information:
